Dear Sycamore Ridge Families,

 

I am thrilled and honored to serve my third year as the principal of Sycamore Ridge School. It is a great honor serving such a supportive, involved, and happy community.

 

As your principal, I will continue to focus on building lasting and trusting relationships with all our students, staff, and families. It is essential that the entire school community feel connected to one another and to their school. I am committed to continuing to put relationships first, taking the time to reach out to our school community, engaging with you, and listening. You will see me frequently in front of the school, in classrooms, on the playground and in the hallways getting to know our students and families.

 

School should be a place where students feel valued, heard, and are safe.  Part of an extraordinary education is ensuring students are provided opportunities that are personalized, where students are challenged to think and collaborate, while also being encouraged to take risks and persevere when faced with challenges. I believe in the power of collective capacity; an excellent education is not possible without significant collaboration between and among students, parents, and staff. Together, we will ensure each one of our Stallions reaches their maximum potential in a safe, joyful environment where a love of learning is nurtured.

 

I look forward to partnering with you in the pursuit of the extraordinary school experience to ignite the genius and empower our students to be change-makers of our world!
